This is a fabulous signed Navajo sterling silver turquoise and coral tarantula pin and pendant. The piece is signed "LMC" for the Navajo silversmith Larry Martinez Chavez and marked "Sterling" on the back. The pin/pendant measures 4 inches by 3 1/2 inches and stands 1 inch tall. The pin is placed so the pin can be worn either vertical or horizontal. The clip pendant bale can be worn on Navajo pearls and is at the top by the coral eyes. The turquoise in the body of the tarantula is Indian Mountain from Nevada. The cabs on six of the legs are New Lander from Nevada The detailed stamping on the silver is amazing!
