Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver w Matrix Turquoise Cluster Pin Petit Point EUC

  

Classic Vintage Hand Made Sterling Silver and Turquoise Cluster Pin - and OLD piece. It is an early piece; The stones appear to be hand cut and polished, and all the silver work is hand made, including hand cut bezel and indiviually made rain beads. This pin is 1 5/8 in diameter and features two rows of natural turquoise gemstones.

There is some dark matrix visible in most of the gemstones. All stones are secure in the settings, and the clasp works fine. About three of the stones have hairline cracks, which may just be part of the matrix - please see photos. They are in no danger of falling out.

This is a nice solid, sturdy piece like they used to make many decades ago. The back is engraved with a number that appears to be a social security number.

I could not say with certainty if the initias "NYC" are those of the artist or stand for New York City. This is a very nice pin that is a worthy investment. The last photo shows a beautiful cluster cuff by Homer Vance that looks great worn with this pin.
