Large Vintage Early Navajo Handmade Brooch Pin

  

Very cool and large, earlier Navajo/Diné brooch pin. This piece has the crackling of an ingot on the backside(not sure if it is though), has a well working closure, and a very nice stamped design.

The stamps on this piece are large, well placed, and create a beautiful pattern that's almost floral. This pin measures just a hair under 2-5/8 across in diameter and weighs 20.7g. It's a very nice piece that would look amazing on a jacket, on a velvet shirt, or even a hat/bag. It's a nice old one and very cool.
