Vintage Navajo Robert Vandever Sterling Silver Inlay Turquoise Lizard Pin Brooch

  

On offer is an authentic, vintage Navajo hand wrought. 925 sterling silver and multi-stone inlay pin / brooch depicting a Lizard. The fine geometric mosaic stone-to-stone inlay is composed of hand cut and polished southwestern sky blue web turquoise, lapis lazuli, and pink mother-of-pearl. W e believe this pin / brooch was created circa 1990 or perhaps earlier. The textured silver and stone pin / brooch is expertly crafted with attention to detail in the Navajo tradition and is in very good vintage condition (see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction).

The pin back is in good working order. The expertly hand-cut and polished mosaic inlay stones are all in very good condition with no chips or cracks and are firmly and securely set within a plain silver bezel. The piece is also decorated with silver raindrops for the lizard's eyes.

The pin / brooch measures approx. 2" long x 1" at widest.
