Zuni PINTO Sterling Silver Turquoise MOP Inlay Hummingbird Pendant Pin Signed

  

This is a hand crafted solid sterling silver and multi-gemstone inlay hummingbird pendant/pin. It was made and signed by a talented Natvie American Zuni artist who has signed the name Pinto on the back.

It is most likely the work of Tamara Pinto, but possibly Bryson and Andrea Pinto. The inlaid gemstones and shells have been carefully carved with detail to depict feathers, leaf veins and flower petals. The gemstones are turquoise, coral, jet, and mother of pearl shell in shades of pink, yellow, and white. The pendant can also be worn as a pin. It is about 1 7/8" x 1" and weighs 6 grams.
