Fabulous lapidary and silversmith skills in this Zuni made rain dancer kachina pin/pendant. All hand made by well known Zuni artist Eldred Martinez. Hallmarked on the back "Zuni Rain Dancer Eldred Martinez Zuni NM". Made using Sterling silver, turquoise, jet, MOP, spiny oyster, yellow lip shell and coral are used in this one.

Each piece meticulously shaped by hand and set into the hand made sterling silver setting. Typical surface crosshatch etching Eldred does on most of his pieces. Comes with a stone stand so you can display this in your collection.

The dancer is 3-3/8" tall x 1-1/2" wide. The Zuni rain dance takes place every year in August. The men dress in Rain Dance Kachina costumes and dance. If you have any questions please ask.
