Big Vintage Old Pawn Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Kachina Pin Pendant Signed

  

On offer is an authentic, vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver Kachina Spirit Dancer pin/pendant adorned with four (4) beautiful southwestern sky blue hand cut and polished natural turquoise cabochon stones.

This pin/pendant is hallmarked Sterling, FY, most likely for FRANK YAZZIE but possibly for FATOYA YAZZIE. We believe this pin/pendant was created circa 1980's or perhaps earlier.

This traditional old Native American sterling silver and turquoise. Was executed with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (see photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The sterling silver Kachina figure is adorned with hand stamping and an applied flower on the kilt, a stylized feather and turquoise headdress, raindrops, wire work and three (3) more turquoise stones. The turquoise are all firmly and securely set in serrated silver bezels and are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.

2 1/2" long x 1" at widest. The pin back is in good working order and the pendant bail has an opening that is approx. This piece weighs 12.5 grams. This classic old Navajo sterling silver and natural southwestern turquoise pin/pendant. Would make an outstanding addition to any Twentieth Century Native American Silver and Stone Jewelry, Kachina Spirit, American Turquoise or Cultural Arts and Crafts collection.
