Large 2 Sterling Turquoise (sleeping Beauty) Navajo Butterfly Pin Brooch Hmrk

  
This large bold and gorgeous Navajo made pin in 2" high and 2" wide. It weighs a generous 30 grams. It came from a trading post near the Navajo reservation here in northern Arizona, which is closing down. From the beautiful blue color we believe it could be Sleeping Beauty turquoise -- from the famous Sleeping Beauty mine that closed down about a year ago. Since then the price of this popular turquoise has risen considerably.

It has a hallmark of a feather on its side with the word Sterling. It has the characteristic Navajo use of large stones and harmonious design.

We are pricing it considerably less than the trading post did. We guarantee it is sterling and Native American made.
