Superb goat/sheep brooch, made by Navajo artisan Nora Nelson. Big, long curved horns are separate and slightly off set giving a 3D look. Hard to measure exactly, but the top horn from base to tip is about 1 3/4 see photo. Wonderful addition to your collection, or to adorn a hat, vest, bag, etc. Please refer to photos for details and condition.
I make every effort to highlight defects or bends that happen over time. It's quite common in vintage items that have been worn a lot to have some misaligned parts, but often they are wearable and if not I will state so. I have many personal pieces that I wear which are not shaped perfectly and it doesn't effect how they look overall or my enjoyment of the piece. I think it adds to the story and character of a piece, but please review carefully and ask questions. Please visit my store where I have a collection of fun things including Native American, Mexican and 90's jewelry, along with some odds and ends!
I love finding unusual items, especially rough hewn pieces that I consider hidden treasures. While I love the story behind a signed piece, I also enjoy the mystery and uniqueness of unsigned pieces.
