RIcky Coochwytewa Hopi Indian Sterling Silver Pin / Pendant Lizard

  
This vintage pin / pendant has been beautifully crafted by Hopi silversmith Ricky Coochwytewa. The design is a lizard with a wonderful curling tail, extended "fingers" and three circles at the center. The pendant measures 1 1/2" tall by 1 1/4" across. It is signed with Ricky's bear paw hallmark. Ricky Coochwytewa is of the village of Shungopavi at Hopi and is a member of the bear clan.

He began silverwork in 1970 and comes from a family of well known silversmiths - Victor Coochwytewa is his father and Ted Wadworth his uncle. We guarantee all of our Native American Indian items to be AUTHENTIC American Indian traditional arts.
