This vintage brooch can also be worn as a necklace as it features a bale that can accommodate the chain of your choice. This piece was part of my late mother-in-law's extensive Native American jewelry collection. This was located new in its box and though the back shows some age related tarnishing it is pristine. Te back is signed V.

Johnson which is Vincent & Sorocco Johnson. It weighs 11.25 grams and is 1 - 3/4 across.

I have included before and after polishing photos. The metal is not marked as to type or purity, but it definitely has the appearance of sterling silver.
