Traditional Zuni Multi-Stone Inlay Knifewing pin/pendant. Nice quality, well made piece of traditional Zuni jewelry art by very well know Zuni jewelry artist Leonard Martza. This will make a fine addition to your collection. Leonard lives in Zuni Pueblo and has won awards for his work over the years. In the 40's he worked at the famous C. Wallace's trading post in Zuni and Gallup making and repairing jewelry. He's getting up in years and not as active these days. Hand cut/shaped turquoise, red coral, MOP and jet all pieced together then set into a handmade sterling silver setting. Hallmarked LM on the back.
