This is a Vintage Navajo Butterfly Pin Brooch Turquoise Sterling Silver Handmade C1940s. Very good to excellent pre-owned condition. The pin is completely handmade with hand stamped decoration. The round turquoise stone is firmly set in a handmade bezel. The pin is unmarked and tests positive for sterling silver.

The pin stem is straight and the roll over clasp is secure. Lightly tarnished with soft mellow patina.

Very nice pin for a collection of Navajo figural jewelry. Butterfly's were one of the most desired designs in the early tourist trade during the 1940's into the 50's. Measures: 1 1/2" long; 1" wide.
