Gorgeous turquoise Sterling silver pendant, hallmarked N. ROOT and stamped STERLING, by the Navajo artist. For this piece, Root selected a vibrant aqua-blue stone with some light green spots and a stunning brown matrix.
The polished cabochon is set in a tall, smooth bezel and framed by a a silver border adorned with 16 lapis snake-eyes. This piece weighs 25.4 grams, it's almost 2 1/16" tall by 9/16" wide at its widest.The bale is 1/4" tall by and just shy of 1/4" deep. The stone alone is 1 9/16" tall by 1 1/8" at its widest point, measured from bezel to bezel. This pendant / pin is very well-constructed.
