Southwestern Native American style rosette coral cluster Sterling silver pin / brooch, stamped STERLING, and signed JF (conjoined) by artist FEDERICO JIMENEZ. Federico lives in Los Angeles, CA, and has become a renowned jewelry designer in the entertainment world. Celebrities such as Elle PcPherson, Christie Brinkley, and actress Ali McGraw have modeled his designs, and worn them as well. His work is traditional and elegant, with many turquoise and coral clusters as well as inlay work. This exceptional piece was crafted with 34 nicely polished corals individually set in smooth bezels. The corals range in color from orange-red to peach. The rosette design has a larger stone in the center (roughly 9/16" x 3/8" from bezel to bezel), and tiny silver raindrops in between the other stones.

Beautiful deep stamps embellish the section between the outer coral and the rosette. Very dark patina on the front. This lovely piece is about 2 in diameter, and weighs approximately 24 grams. This can also be used as a pendant, with what we call a pin-tube bale, please ask us if you are not sure what it is.
