Beautiful vintage Southwestern / Navajo-style sterling silver pin. Designed in the form of a large safety pin with a detailed. These oversized "safety pin" style pieces were traditionally used as. Shawl pins, kilt pins, blanket pins, or cloak fasteners. And are collectible in Native American and Southwest silverwork.

Chief / Warrior head with feather headdress. 4 3/8" long x 1" wide. Vintage patina, minor wear consistent with age. Likely mid-20th century (1950s-1970s) based on construction and style.
