The records for UITA were housed in Gallup New Mexico and lost in a fire many years. According to Hallmarks of the Southwest, UITA 6 was known to be assigned to Borrego Trading Post in New Mexico. This piece is unmarked for silver content but standards for UITA declare all pieces must be coin silver. 900 or up and all pieces must be handmade by Native Navajo or Pueblo Indians.
