This magnificent Native American sterling silver saguaro cactus with 10 green malachite gemstones was handcrafted by Ella Peter, a Master Navajo Silversmith. The 10 oval cabochon Malachite gemstones are nestled in sawtooth bezel settings. This wonderful piece can be worn as a pendant or as a brooch pin. The back is signed Ella Peter and is stamped STERLING.

Ella Peter, a Master Navajo Silversmith, has been making jewelry for over 45 years. She was born in the Tsa-ya-toh area in New Mexico on the Navajo reservation. At a very young age, her father taught her the art of making jewelry and weaving baskets, and she has been doing so ever since. This wonderful piece is an example of her extraordinary skill and vision.
