Beautiful and well made pin. I found a very similar example in two different publications which are included in the photos. The artist is Merle Edaakie in one book and Mary Kallestewa in the other. 1 7/8" x 1 1/2", attribution is based on my own research. Notice the similarities in design, especially when you look at the silver work and the inlay in the tail.
There are some trader or pawn codes scratched in the back. The item "Zuni Knifewing Pin Circa 1930 Possibly by Merle Edaakie or Mary Kallestewa Vinta" is in sale since Friday, June 16, 2017.
