Rare Native American Sterling Silver Cast Brooch Pendant by: Anthony LAVATO, an award winning silversmith who works in a process called tufting. This piece may be called the corn maiden pendant, I have seen others similar with the same name. Unsure of stone, it may be shell. The rest is sterling silver.

Signed with his initials on the back. This piece belong to a family member who lived in Arizona for many, many years and was an avid collector of Native American jewelry. Even National Geographic touted that, Garland's has the finest collection in all of Indian country. I have weighed it and provided two units of measurements, it weighs 42.2 grams or 1.35 in ounces troy, the traditional manner of weighing sterling silver. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS.
